How to debug why using 2.2.2 is ok, but when upgrade to 2.3.0 get sudden reboot after booting into the gui? thx

I am not sure if you understand this, but if I can complie some commit and see (compliing the past one and the future ones (up to current 2.3..), where the reboot started,then I can figure out the bug maybe.. but OSX kext signing stuff it need a developer paid account, I wonder if there are free ways to do it
