The new spam trick is to embed the spam in near-zero size within the signature line. I'm pretty much just going to delete posts from anyone with a signature line at this point because it is too much trouble to inspect HTML source to confirm. Thanks, @jeffc for your keen eye and willingness to flag for moderation.

But for some reason you're just deleting the posts and not the accounts?

I don't seem to have the capabilities to actually erase accounts - but I can (and do) ban the miscreants so that they will never post again.
