ashift and SSDs

I was reading up on sector sizes and SSDs and saw quite a few suggestions that the whole concept of sectors is mostly a compatibility feature on those drives, as the host expects them. Exactly what I suspected.

That begs the question how one should set `ashift` when creating a new pool on an SSD, esp. on the (rare?) ones that claim to be 512/4096.

If the drive actually works with much larger sectors, should you adjust ashift to that size? And how to figure out what that size might be?
