OpenZFS on OS X

Is there anything else I can do to debug this? This seems like a pretty major issue to me if it's interfering with macOS sandboxing, and it's leaving me in a position where I either have to grant Full Disk Access to a heap of processes that should never need it, or abandon my ZFS datasets and use HFS+ formatted ZVOLs instead, neither of which I want to do.
