O3X 2.0.1 on Big Sur 11.4 - User folder

Hi everyone,

Long time reader first time poster. I've been a O3X user for a long time and lately I acquired a new Macbook Pro and it comes with Big Sur. I tried mounting my User folder on it, and I am experiencing some weird issues.

This is how it looks, I will try to include only relevant parameters:
Code: Select all
vmpool/admin  aclinherit             restricted             default
vmpool/admin  aclmode                passthrough            local
vmpool/admin  acltype                posix                  inherited from vmpool
vmpool/admin  atime                  off                    inherited from vmpool
vmpool/admin  com.apple.browse       on                     default
vmpool/admin  com.apple.devdisk      poolonly               default
vmpool/admin  com.apple.ignoreowner  off                    default
vmpool/admin  com.apple.mimic        apfs                   local
vmpool/admin  normalization          formD                  -
vmpool/admin  relatime               on                     inherited from vmpool
vmpool/admin  setuid                 on                     default
vmpool/admin  utf8only               on                     -
vmpool/admin  xattr                  sa                     inherited from vmpool

I am observing two things:
    1. Everytime I boot I see all this items in my bin folder, which I do not know why
    Image
Yes, I am aware of this: https://support.apple.com/en-au/guide/mac-help/mchlp2919/mac but does it mean my applications are crashing?
    2. Every reboot I found that some of my applications' settings are lost, e.g., TG Pro and Bartender 4.

I hope you can give me some advise, because I am completely lost, it worked just fine in my old computers.

Kind regards.

Ah hmm, that is interesting. We have found issues with hardlinks, link id and vget though - which I guess could be related.

we did redo that code, so if you could check if rc2 fixes it, that'd be great

Hi, sorry for the long waiting. I will check with new code. I've been very busy last months.
