OpenZFS on OS X

okay, so i removed zfs.kext from ~/Library/Extensions manually and restarted. now any attemtp at running "zpool" or "zfs" commands results in the message "The ZFS modules are not loaded. Try running '/sbin/kextload zfs.kext' as root to load them."
