OpenZFS on OS X

I have followed the instructions, which appear to be written for Catalina, several times without success. I’ve come across a handful of threads asking for help with Catalina that seem too be dead-ends.

So I’m curious - is booting Catalina known to work? If so, did you do something different from the instructions?

If you are trying to do this with any of the current 2.0.0 RCs, then the advice is, I believe, "don't try yet". The code base has undergone a huge amount of work and its likely that the boot aspects just aren't ready (read "don't work yet").

I am using 1.9.4, which is the latest shown on the download page.
