I will start the inevitable topic on Big Sur now that it’s being released today.
What is the status of OpenZFS on Big Sur (for Intel)
Anyone tried it (using test builds I guess) and if so how did it go?
Will 1.9.4 be released for it or will it be 2.0?

It seems clear that it will be named 2.x, as there already was a forum release for the new port to Catalina. You can find it here:

If I understood correctly, our great Lundman wrote that he could already make it work on Big Sur betas for Intel, and that it was hard to make it work on Big Sur for Apple Silicon.

It appears Lundman has been working hard on it the past few days from looking at checkins
