Missing uninstaller for 1.7.0

Postby athompson » Tue Dec 12, 2017 10:36 am

Up to v1.6.0, O3X is distributed as .dmg files that contain an uninstall script. The v1.7.0 release is a bare .pkg file with no uninstaller.

I'm having massive problems with ZFS on High Sierra, and wanted to try uninstalling and reinstalling before asking for help, but it seems I have to ask for help just with uninstalling!

I can't find the Uninstall script in the git repo, so I assume it is auto-generated during build - which also doesn't help me right now.

Have I missed something obvious?

Thanks,

I don't think the uninstall script changes much, if at all. So you can run the one in the 1.6.0 DMG most likely. It could be worth checking you don't have old kexts in /System/Library/Extensions/ as they should be living in /Library/Extensions nowadays.
