Postby Ikukuru » Mon Feb 06, 2017 3:53 pm

I am looking for recommendations to do regular monitoring of my zpool and notify me if there is a disk failure, or errors, etc.

thanks

zed has the feature of running scripts when events happen, like that of degradation and so on, and comes with a few scripts - send email etc. Don't know if any of them work, since we inherited them from ZOL.

Someone on here also wrote a menubar icon util, which could do what you want.

I wrote a menu-bar utility. It's crap from a dev perspective, but gets the job done.
