Anyone using 2 pools concurrently with one host?

Hi all,

Thank you to all the developers for ZFS on MacOS! I am very grateful.

I'm curious if anyone is using two pools and if there's any issues.

I have 8 file systems under my current pool and I'd like to move one of the fs out to its own pool for better speed.
It's the pictures fs and I've just ordered a PCIe card that can hold 4x M.2 cards to play with.

Anyone running a server with 2 pools and have encountered any game-ending issues?

Cheers.

I have several systems running with between 1 and 10 pools each. A couple use big cards like your showing and others use various Thunderbolt hubs. All good.

I have 2 pools, 5*8 TB and 7*4 TB. When looking at speed, do not forget to check the maximum speed per chassi. Especially if the chassi can do its own RAID-stuff. The the chassid-cpu will limit the maximum throughput of that chassi.

I have two 4-bay chassis and they seem to max out at 350-400MBps, If I move the disks onto 1-bay "enclosures" I often get 7*150MBps from my smaller pool. That is when I scrub.
