I am trying to downlevel ZFS in El Capitan from 1.5.2 to 1.4.2 but the uninstall script doesn't pause to allow me to input my password. Output is below:

mstan$ /Volumes/OpenZFS\ on\ OS\ X\ 1.3.0/Docs\ \&\ Scripts/uninstall-openzfsonosx.sh

No pools should be imported
/usr/sbin/zpool does not exist.
You will need to export your pool(s) and unload zfs.kext manually before uninstalling.

You could work around it by using sudo.

Tried that - doesn't work.

I worked around this issue by restoring a clone with an earlier version of OpenZFS. But I will need a solution to this for the next upgrade.

The uninstall routine worked for 1.5.2 on my old MacBookPro with Yosemite. Is this an El Cap issue? SIP, maybe?

Just had the same issue in Sierra. The uninstall-complete.sh script worked.
