Tried to install OpenZFS on OS X, and after the installation the system balked
The system extension “/Library/Extensions/PGPdiskDriver.kext” was installed improperly and cannot be used. Please try reinstalling it, or contact the product’s vendor for an update.

- OS X 10.11.6
- Open ZFS on OS X 10.5.2, downloaded as a dmg from website, checksums checked
- user with admin rights
- System preference Security and Privacy > General > Allow Apps downloaded from > Anywhere.

What could be the reason and how to fix?
Thanks in advance

/Library/Extensions/PGPdiskDriver.kext - this is not a file we distribute. So, I'd have to say whatever you are seeing is unrelated to ZFS.

Hi Brendon

thank you - you are right, the file PGPdiskDriver.kext is from 2004 :-)
Just strange that it popped up when installing OpenZFS on OS X - I guess the system checked the files when installing the ZFS kext.
