Thanks, I'm still running 1.5.2 from the installer, but haven't got as far as touching my OpenZFS drives. I'll see how it goes with 1.5.2 and if I hit any problems I'll try building from source. Most of my local stuff is masters of data that I then push to a RAID-Z1 pool on a FreeBSD machine, so I'm not too worried about any local problems (unless they spread, of course ;)).

Hi,

As stated elsewhere in these forums we are still testing O3X on Sierra. We have made good progress on testing in the last couple of weeks, O3X generally seems to work with one or two relatively minor issues - however we are waiting for the Kernel Development Kit for the Sierra final release to be released by Apple.

I would not recommend upgrading immediately unless you have a path back, if the upgrade somehow fails.

You can rest assured that as soon as we are happy with Sierra we will give the all clear.

I installed am running as of today. First boot failed and had kernel panic which I would get with 10.11 from time to time as well. I shut off array, reboot, all ok, reboot and all works.

only couple of hours up but running.

I also get frequently Finder hangs and spins. Every 1-2h the system freezes completely.

I can not rule out the Controller though, but without ZFS mounted, the error doesn´t occur.

Tried to login with ssh, and run a spindump, also copied spindump.txt to another location, but after reset (shutdown -r now doesnt work) the file was completely gone.

The test suite is showing deadlocks in Iokit. We have a technical question in with Apple at the moment. They have asked for data from us to support analysis - sounds like they half suspect its a regression in macOS code.

The recommendation is still not to migrate.

Yep not sure what that spindump represents.

Mike0810 was it a deadlock?
