1.5.2 not mentioned in "News & Announcements"

Postby nodarkthings » Sat Jul 02, 2016 11:55 am

Hi!
Is there a reason why v1.5.2 is not mentioned in the "News & Announcements" section? Is it still in beta? :?
I've read various posts about it and thought it was a beta only available to few people, but today, out of curiosity, I followed a link to the download page and found it was downloadable...
So is it safe using it or should I wait for a safer version to be properly announced?
Thanks for clearing up this mystery. ;)

1.5.2 is a fully fledged release, was announced in our twitter feed. The guy that normally posts release messages in the forum, didn't thats all.

Thanks, Brendon!
I was only following the forum news and subscribed to the "News & Announcements" threads... I don't use Twitter but I'll go and see the page from time to time. ;)

It's still not there..
Potentially very confusing and/or time wasting to someone who doesn't know about 1.5.2 coming to the forum looking for latest release.
Super grateful to the people developing OpenZFS on OS X!
RaidZ2 working well for storing my data, OS X Server share for Time Machine, FCPX, iTunes, Photos, etc. on my Hackinstosh.
