I am checking out Wasabi. 11 9s, no ingress charges, no egress charges, and $0.049/GB/month.

At the moment I am unable to get Backblaze to back up anything, even from my standard APFS boot drive. Presumably their support people will help me fix that, and when they do, I can report back about zfs volumes not mounted at /Volumes.

After rebooting the machine, BB started doing its thing, and it does appear to be including the 2TB of ZFS data that's mounted under /Users/Shared in the backup. So, yes, all you need to do to get Backblaze to back up your ZFS is to give it a mount point that's not under /Volumes.
