Hello. I am working on a GUI app for ZFS. Was wondering what the logo license is? It is compatible with MIT Licence? Can I use it in my app? THX

@realfolkblues

The logo is a derivative work of the OpenZFS logo. We were given permission to use it for OpenZFS on OS X (O3X).

We do not intend to allow use of the O3X logo outside of the core O3X project. You are more than welcome to join the project and contribute. Any such contribution would be able to use our branding.

Ok well my plan was two fold.
1. create classes that would interface with ZFS via command line calls and provide GUI apps with methods to call.
2. Create a GUI. I was thinking similar to Drobo dashboard for management of open zfs OSX.

Does this sound like something you would like to be an official part of the project? If so I would be happy to make it an official part of the project.

Hi,

I have noticed that nobody has responded. Most project coordination is done via IRC channel #openzfs-osx. If you join that we can discuss the way forward.
