Question re. 2.1.6-rc2 and Monterey x86

Hey,

Huge kudos to Lundman and co. for keeping this thing going. Really really appreciate all your hard work.

Just wondering if it’s OK to install the Big Sur version of rc-2 on Monterey? Or is an rc-2 for Monterey x86 still to come?

Would love to give it a whirl, but it just happens so that most of my zfs datasets are indeed encrypted. So thought i’d ask before going ahead.

Thanks!

You can install BigSur on Monterey just fine, even Catalina should work fine. Mostly compiling for
each OS in case they have made things faster, for that specific version.
