Just providing a quick data point.

I have successfully installed 1.4.2 on a MacPro5,1 w 10.10.5.
-pool upgrade appears successful although I have not tried to take advantage of the new features.
-no panics
-survived reboot

Thanks guys for all the work that you are doing!

Ok, I had been using 1.4.2 for a bit when my machine suddenly became unresponsive but did not panic.
I was forced to reboot and the log showed many messages similar to

Code: Select all
9/26/15 4:05:27.000 PM kernel[0]: ZFS: vnop_setattr(UF_TRACKED) obj 7374405 : documentid 2435266369

These symptoms have not repeated and I successfully scrubbed a 2TB pool without incident.

Hi,

Did you experience a spinning pizza/beachball of death? What OS are you running? Where you successfully running a previous version?

Thanks
Brendon

Yes, I should have had a beachball although the system was so unresponsive I may have lost the cursor.
I was running 1.4.2 under 10.10.5. I upgraded the pool from 1.3.2 when recommended by the 1.4.2 installer.
