You are still not understanding. There is no way to access a pre-existing image file as a zvol. That makes no sense.

Is there any other way , I can access pre-exiting image as volume.

You can copy it to a zvol.

Hi,

What is the source file (*.c file )and which is the field I need to change in kernel extension side , so that zfs will always mount as read-only mode.
