This will eventually make it into our implementation, after ZoL gets it.

While such performance increases are nice, its debatable how many Mac users will really notice - not many 32 cpu machines around.

multithreaded performance is nice, worst case still seems to be the lock contention for 2 CPUs. Do they mean 2 cores or 2 CPUs ? What is the average # of cores in a Mac ZFS install? I have 2 processors but 8 cores.
