searchfs

Here you can discuss every aspect of OpenZFS on OS X. Note: not for support requests!

searchfs, the vnop, is not implemented. I was considering it, but spotlight actually works very well on filesystems that dont support searchfs, so it was decided better to fix spotlight than to implement searchfs.

If someone wanted to attack searchfs, they are welcome to do so of course :)

EasyFind

Performance aside, do all features work as expected with OpenZFS on OS X?

That depends on your expectations. Personally, I haven't been impressed with Spotlight, but I may be holding it wrong. ;)

In EasyFind, select the radio button for "File Contents" in the first set of options and toggle the switch at the bottom of the left interface frame to reveal the file types it can search. Select "Scan all files" to be safest.
